Worship

Holy Trinity holds Spirit-filled, accessible, liturgical worship rooted in the Lutheran tradition. Worship is a core value of who we are and we invite you to join us! We celebrate the sacraments, Baptism and Holy Communion, where God’s grace is received and shared for all people no exceptions.

congregation

Our traditional worship service features music led by Dr. Chuck Barland, of the University of Dubuque. Participants will be moved by the resonant organ, classic piano, and choral and bell ensembles. Liturgies and hymns are primarily used from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship and All Creation Sings hymnals.

Contemporary

children-singing

Our contemporary worship service features music led by Dr. Luke Tyler, of the Northeast Iowa School of Music. Participants will be energized by the worship band that features keyboard, guitars, and drums. Liturgies and hymns are a bit more eclectic, but are most commonly drawn from All Creation Sings and “Behold I Make All Things New” by Ben Larson.

Serving Together

There's no better way to connect than serving together. Holy Trinity is missionally motivated to serve the hungry in our community. We do this in a variety of ways including our 24-hour Access Pantry, quarterly Food Giveaways, and Seasonal Community Impact Events.

Grief Share

The death of a loved one can be painful and overwhelming as we navigate the changes by the loss in our lives. A Grief Support Group provides a communal place of support and compassion, reminding one another they are not alone in their grief.

Using the resource Understanding Your Grief by death educator and grief counselor Dr. Alan D. Wolfelt, the group will learn basic principles and actions to take to engage with their grief and move toward healing.
