Lent is right around the corner! Soon our Wednesday/Mid-week services will begin again. This year will be focused on personal testimony. Every life matters because, every life is God breathed. You matter. Your story is important. Are you willing to share that story (or at least a chapter or two) with the body of Christ? If you would like to give a testimony one Wednesday and share with others how God has and is working in your life, please email or talk with Intern Paris BEFORE Ash Wednesday. email@example.com

We need worship assistants!
Readers, ushers and communion assistants are always needed, especially for 5:30 and 11:00 Services. Individuals OR families are very welcome. You’d be surprised what your child/children can do to become active in the liturgy and the leadership skills they’ll learn. If interested, check your calendars, select the weekend(s) you plan to attend and contact Diane Kalmes, (563-845- 0735) or Pastor Josh. Walking sticks (training) will be provided!
Mark your calendars for March 10th for an official Worship Training provided by the Family Ministry team!
Announcement from the Thrivent Action Team:
Holy Trinity members and other volunteers implemented eleven Thrivent Action Team projects during 2017 as partial fulfillment of the congregation’s mission: Living Christ’s Call to Love and Serve All. Action Team projects endeavor to serve both congregation and community.
For each project Thrivent Financial approved a $250 incentive grant to support and encourage people’s generosity in volunteering time, service, and financial contribution. Holy Trinity received $2,750 from Thrivent Financial in support of the eleven projects.
Every Thrivent financial member (a person who owns a Thrivent product) is entitled to make two Action Team applications per calendar year. Every associate member (a person who pays a registration fee) may make one application per year. If you are a Thrivent member and have not applied for an Action Team Project please contact the church office or one of the Thrivent Congregational Advocates to see how you can apply for a project.
Completed Action Team Projects in 2017 were as follows:
Lenten Soup Supper to benefit Opening Doors
HTLC Front Porch project, welcoming outreach
